Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering over a popular southern California shoreline suddenly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Footage uploaded on the internet depict the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then descending towards the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm trees and a steps near the coastal road.
First Aid Details
Emergency responders reported five individuals were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the road were hurt. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

The department mentioned the aircraft was linked to an annual “Cars and Copters” fundraising event set for the next day.
